Buxton, John H.; met Jane Elizabeth Curtis of Baltimore, MD during the war. They were married in 1866, and had four children. They were living in Woodberry, MD 1866-?, Baltimore 1876-1885; Buxton, MD 1885-1889; Laurel, MD 1890; Crisfield, MD 1891; Baltimore, MD 1892-1906; Ontario, Canada 1906-1907; Baltimore, ND 1908-1914. John was a mechanic in his father's foundry in Montpelier before the war, and became a hydraulic engineer and inventor, had a windmill business, and developed gold mines in MD, NC, NV and Canada.
