Missouri

Bunker, George Hall, 7th Infantry, mustered out 2 March 1866 at Brattleboro, VT. After the war, he and his wife Nancy Fuller Bunker removed to Queen Ann Co., MD, and later to Nevada, Vernon Co., MO. Employed as a railroad carpenter. Applied for and was granted CW pension. (Nancy Bunker Bowen, Athens GA)

Crawford, Andrew J.; in 1872 moved from Swanton, VT, to Ellsworth County, KS with wife, Phoebe Ann Brown Crawford, and three children (Eva, Cora, and Bertha). Frankie and Gertie were born in KS. (family)

Pollard, H. M.; settled in MO after he retired from the army, and very soon became a leading lawyer in the courts. He represented MO one term in Congress, and then took up his residence in St. Louis (8 Inf)

Sutherland, John A. Co. I, 3rd Vt. Vol Infantry; returned to Barnet, VT until sometime after 1875; then went west to Amity, Dekalb Co., MO, bought a farm, married, had one child, died in 1904. (Elizabeth (Sutherland) Richardson erich@ktn.net)
