Born 10 May 1844, Parishville, NY. Died 2 Aug 1884, near Canton, WI; buried Forest Cemetery, Stevens Point, WI. Corporal, Co. K, 11th Vermont Infantry, credited to St. Johnsbury. At Petersburg, VA., on 2 Apr 1865, he was credited with "capture of a flag." Medal of Honor issued 24 Apr 1865. (NARA File: AAK-534-EB-1869)
