George S. Humphrey, Private, 9th New Hampshire Infantry, Company A; enlisted 6/3/62, mustered in 7/3/62, discharged for disability 5/24/65, Louisville, KY. He was born 8/13/1827, Waterbury, Vermont, died 11/5/1891, and is buried in Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton, MA.
Horace W. Humphrey, Private, 26th Massachusetts Infantry, Company H; farmer, enlisted 9/23/61, mustered in 10/18/61, reenlisted 2/29/64, mustered out 8/26/65. He was born 2/8/1824, Waterbury, Vermont, died 1/23/1889, and is buried in Maple Street Cemetery, Waterbury, VT.
Mason W. Humphrey, 1st Lieutenant, 5th New Hampshire Infantry, Company B; enlisted 9/12/61, mustered in as Sergeant, 10/23/61, wounded, Fredericksburg, 12/13/62, promoted Sergeant-Major 3/1/63, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 10/2/63, promoted 1st Lieutenant 2/1/64, killed in action, Cold Harbor, 6/3/64. He was born 6/27/1841, Waterbury, Vermont, and is buried in National Cemetery, Cold Harbor, VA.
