Charles Bushey

Charles Bushey was born 4 March 1835, in Sorel, Quebec, and was credited to St. Albans when he enlisted on 18 August 1862. He mustered in as a Private, in Co. E, 12th Vermont Infantry on 4 October 1862, and served with the unit until it was disbanded on 14 July 1863. He enlisted again, on 23 December, mustering in as a Private in Co. K, 7th Vermont Infantry, on 5 January 1864. He was taken prisoner at Spanish Fort on 31 March 1865, and released on 21 April. He mustered out on 18 May 1865.

He died in Westford, 24 January 1918, and is buried in Saint Annes Cemetery, Milton.
