Simon C. F. Cobban
Simon C. F. Cobban, St. Johnsbury, age 22, enlisted February 22, 1862, and mustered in April 12, 1862, as a private in Co. K, Third Vermont Volunteer Infantry.
He was discharged for disability, February 6, 1863.
He enlisted again, credited to Kirby, January 1, 1864, and mustered in January 4, 1864 as a private in Co. C, Eighth Vermont Volunteer Infantry.
He was promoted to corporal August 1, 1864, and mustered out with his regiment June 28, 1865.
